Rose Milk with Chia Seeds

It is a chilled rosy pink milk based drink flavored with rose syrup.Topped with soaked chis seeds and chopped nuts. This drink is a perfect balance of flavors and texture.

Ingredients
  

1 cup =250 ml

  • 300 ml milk boiled and chilled
  • 1-2 tbsp rose syrup adjust as needed
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • Few almonds and pistachios for garnishing
  • Rose petals for garnish
  • Ice optional

Prepping

  • Firstly, soak chia seeds for 2-3 hours until they swell.
  • Secondly, soak almonds and pistachios in water for an hour. Now peel off their skins, chop them finely and keep aside.

How to make Rose Milk drink

  • Take boiled and chilled milk in a jug.
  • Initially add a tbsp of rose syrup. Mix well to disperse syrup uniformly in the milk. Since syrup has a tendency to settle at the bottom, stir well. Check for sweetness. If need be, add more syrup.
  • Stir in some viscous chia seeds and chopped nuts.
  • Add some ice to enhance the refreshing undertones.
  • Finally, pour the rose milk into fancy glasses or shot glasses.
  • Garnish with extra soaked chia seeds, nuts and rose petals.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Peeled nuts do not leave any residues in the rose milk, ensuring a smooth texture.
Use full fat or low-fat milk.
