Nacho Chips Recipe | Tortilla Chips
Nacho chips are triangular chips made from tortilla. These chips form the crunchy base of a Mexican dish, NACHOS, which is then covered with melted cheese as well as some toppings and garnishes such as meats like grilled meat or vegetables like lettuce and olives. Lastly , add some toppings salsa, guacamole, or sour cream on the top.

- ½ cup maize flour makki ka atta
- 1 cup refined flour maida
- 1 tbsp olive oil for mixing in flour
- Cooking oil for deep-frying
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt as needed
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- Lukewarm water to make dough.
FLAVOR OPTIONS:
- 1 tsp cumin seeds & carom seeds flavor option 1.
- 1/2 tsp oregano flavor option 2
Making Dough for Nacho Chips
First of all, slightly warm the cumin seeds and carom seeds in a fry pan to release maximum flavors.
Secondly, combine maize flour, refined flour, salt, turmeric powder, chili flakes, cumin - carom seeds combination or oregano in a bowl and mix.
Add oil and mix well.
Then, add some warm water and knead into a firm dough.
Shaping and Frying Nacho Chips
Furthermore, heat sufficient oil in a pan.
Then roll out dough into a thin sheet.
