Ingredients:
- 200 gram coriander leaves 2 bunches
- 50 grams mint leaves 1/2 bunch
- 30 grams garlic
- 10 grams ginger
- 2-3 green chillies
- 2-3 limes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder or 1/2 tablespoon whole coriander seeds
- 1/2 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup water
Wash and coarsely chop coriander and mint leaves, garlic, ginger, onion and chillies.
Place leaves, ginger, garlic, onion and all the other ingredients in the jar of a blender along with half cup water and lime juice.
Blend till a fine taste is obtained.
Store in the fridge in a dry and clean plastic or glass container
- To increase shelf life of chutney, store the chutney in the fridge in a clean and dry plastic or glass container.
- Whenever you want to consume , take out small portions from the fridge.
- To prevent bitter taste in coriander mint chutney, do not run the blender at a stretch. Stop at intervals.
