Used for Indian chaats such as Dahi wada chaat, aloo tikki chaat, sev puri, bhel, dahi puri, samosa chat, kachori chat, and various other chaats

It is also used as a spread in  sandwiches, vada pav, samosa pav, and can also be eaten with different types of parathas.

This Hair Chutney promotes digestion, and is rich in vitamin C and vitamin K besides other nutrients. It regulates the blood sugar level and is good for diabetic people.

How to avoid bitter taste of Hari Chutney

You should discard the stems and its small portions while plucking the mint leaves. Use more coriander leaves compared to mint leaves for this recipe. Also, avoid grinding the chutney for a long time as it releases oils from the mint leaves, which leaves a bitter after taste. You can also use traditional grinding stone for avoiding the bitter taste.

How to store Coriander Mint Chutney

The green chutney should be stored in a refrigerator in preferably an airtight glass or plastic container. It stays fresh for 4 days to 2 weeks if stored right. Take out required portions for consumption and keep the rest of the chutney in the fridge.

Variations of Coriander Mint Chutney

You can add coconut while blending for a smooth chutney spread for sandwiches

Adding a few soaked almond while blending. Cilantro Mint Pesto is ready!!

Add a pinch of sugar or some jaggery to add mild sweetness.
