1 cup Yoghurt 1 cup water adjust Handful of mint leaves Few sprigs of coriander leaves ¼'" ginger finely chopped 1 green chili small chopped ½ tsp mix of Table salt/Rock salt . Adjust to taste ½ tsp roasted cumin seeds powder ¼ tsp chaat masala ¼ tsp black pepper powder
Firstly take yoghurt/curd in a blender,
Now add the mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger and chili
Then add salt, cumin powder, black pepper, chaat masala and asafetida.(if using)
Lastly add water and blend till smooth
Strain and chill for half an hour
Pour cool Mint Lassi in glasses.
Garnish with mint leaves or sprinkle chaat masala.
Serve and enjoy!!
Use fresh curd.
Use vibrant green coloured fresh mint leaves.
Discard the brown or yellow leaves Chill lassi for optimum taste.
