- Sweetener – Here sugar is used. You may alternatively use honey.
- Garnish – A few chopped almonds and pistachios

How to make Almond Milk shake with step by step instructions
Almond Paste
Firstly soak almonds in water for 4-5 hours.
Then remove the skin.
Now blend the almonds with milk to get almond paste.
Custard-Milk Mixture
Mix custard powder with milk very nicely such that no lumps are there.
How to infuse saffron
Infuse saffron in lukewarm milk.
How to make almond shake
First of all, bring milk to a boil. Then let it simmer for 7-8 minutes.
Then, to this add sugar, cardamom powder and infused saffron milk.
Simmer till sugar melts.
When the sugar is completely melted, add the custard-milk mixture.
Simmer well on low flame to get rid of the raw taste of custard powder.
Now add the almond (badam) paste.
Let it simmer on slow till milk coats the spoon.
Add some nutmeg powder. Mix.
Finally out off the flame.
Now add some chopped pistachios and almonds.
Lastly, bring the milkshake to room temperature and chill for 3-5 hours.
Serve garnished with more nuts.
What to serve
Serve Badam Milkshake as a cooling and refreshing drink in fancy tall glasses with nuts garnish and a drinking straw if you prefer.
Alternatively, serve it after a breakfast or snack of Grilled Cheese Pita Sandwich or Tricolor Sandwich or atraditional Bajri jo Dodo

- 10-12 almonds soaked for 3 or 4 hrs and skinless
- 1/8 cup milk
Custard – Milk Mixture
- 1/8 cup milk + 1 tbsp custard powder
Infuse Saffron
- 5-7 strands Saffron
- 1 tbsp milk

- 2 tbsp sugar add more if required

- A pinch of nutmeg jaiphal
- Almonds and pistachios for garnishin
