Salted Mint Lasi ingredients
  • Curd/yoghurt: Use fresh yoghurt. It is good to thin it with water for easy digestion. Too much dilution will turn it into a Chaach
  • Fresh Mint (Pudina ) – Select vibrant green color leaves. Discard brown or yellow leaves.
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves – Optional but it adds to the robust green color of the lassi.
  • Green chili Optional. Use at a bare minimum.
  • Ginger– Adds a zing and aids in digestion
  • Rock Salt, Table Salt– Adjust to taste. Black Pepper Powder– Use freshly ground
  • Chaat Masala Powder – This is a readily available tangy mix of spice powders. It mainly consists of amchoor (dried mango powder), cumin, coriander, dried ginger, salt (often kala namak), black pepper, asafetida (hing), and chili powder. Use in moderation.
  • Roasted Cumin seeds (Jeera) Powder – Cumin powder aids in digestion, weight loss, and diabetes prevention. Roasting the cumin seeds enhances their flavors.
  • Water

How to make Mint Yoghurt Lassi Drink

Step by step instructions with photos

Firstly take curd in a blender,

Now add the mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger, and chili

Then add salt, cumin powder, black pepper, chaat masala, and asafetida. (if using)

Lastly add water and blend till smooth

Strain and chill for half an hour

Pour cool Mint Lassi in glasses

Garnish with mint leaves or sprinkle chaat masala.

Serve and enjoy!!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Yoghurt
  • 1 cup water adjust
  • Handful of mint leaves
  • Few sprigs of coriander leaves
  • ¼'" ginger finely chopped
  • 1 green chili small chopped
  • ½ tsp mix of Table salt/Rock salt . Adjust to taste
  • ½ tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  • ¼ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder

Instructions
 

  • Firstly take yoghurt/curd in a blender,
  • Now add the mint leaves, coriander leaves, ginger and chili
  • Then add salt, cumin powder, black pepper, chaat masala and asafetida.(if using)
